What you can make

Brand and campaign direction

Bring palette, negative space, lighting and layout references together before producing a poster.

Outfit and product concepts

Group setting, accessory and texture references around an outfit or product, noting details that must remain.

A visual style for travel stories

Place your own or licensed photos beside writing ideas to compare the mood of covers and image sequences.

How to use it

  1. Choose a concrete brief, such as an autumn product campaign in warm natural light. Note the audience, intended use and required brand details.
  2. Open the infinite canvas and upload references or add library images. Arrange them by color, texture, setting and composition; remove duplicates that add little.
  3. Add notes explaining what each reference contributes, such as “lighting only” or “keep this negative space.” Separate confirmed facts from visual assumptions.
  4. If a direction is missing, select relevant images and generate one alternative after reviewing the model and Credits. Keep AI proposals distinct from original source material.
  5. Select the images and notes to deliver, then export PNG. With nothing selected, export the whole canvas. Keep needed source files and download before images expire.

Start with an example

Plan an autumn coffee campaign

Add your own product and café references first. Use notes to define their role, and generate a scene proposal only if needed.

Board note
Direction: warm brown and cream, soft morning side light, a quiet atmosphere. Reference A is for negative space; reference B is for lighting. Keep the cup and branding faithful to the supplied product photo.
Optional image prompt
Using the selected references for warm atmosphere, generate 1 scene proposal for an autumn coffee poster. Place the subject on the right and leave headline space on the left. Do not invent a café address, promotional price or product claim.

Check the result: Can someone tell what to keep and what to change? Label confirmed facts, open design choices and AI scene proposals clearly.

Common questions

Is a moodboard the same as a finished design?

No. A moodboard aligns visual direction through references and notes. A final poster, product page or video still needs production and review.

Can I make a moodboard without generating images?

Yes. Import existing images, arrange them, add notes and export. Credits apply when you explicitly request AI generation.

Can I share a live collaborative board?

This guide describes a personal private canvas. Export a PNG for discussion; it should not be taken as a promise of real-time shared editing.
